Love Redesigned by Lauren Asher
4.0
*Julia and Dahlia are the ultimate healthy relationshio goals.*
Loved Redesigned by Lauren Asher was reccomended to me by a friend. It is a CHUNKY book so it took me a hot second to get through it between balancing daily life and not having a lot of free time.
In the book, we follow two main characters Dahlia and Julian. Dahlia is on the way home to Lake Wisteria from San Francisco after a messy breakup with her ex-fiancé Oliver. Julian is late to his godson's piano recital and is trying to get there on time. In an odd coincidence, Dahlia and Julian get into a slight fender bender and it's clear that Dahlia and Julian want NOTHING to do with each other.... BUT they start working on a project to renovate a home together, one of the first houses in Lake Wisteria. Together they grow closer and Dahlia starts to trust herself more and Julian continues to give her words of affirmation and they both end up falling in love after a failed "friends with benefits" (shocker).
I loved how Julia faught for Dahlia even when she pushed him away because she was scared of her own feelings. I love that Dahlia finally opened up to accepting love again and was glad to see these two reunited.
