Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones
5.0
It's a classic book made so much more popular by the Studio Ghibli film, what more can I say?
I was delighted and surprised by the ways this book was different from the film - more rich, and more contemporary. Its not really set in some distant past, but the 90s, and Welsh Howl (pronounced Howell in the audiobook) was a welcome surprise.
I'll have to go rewatch the film, that's for sure, but in the meantime this was an excellently un-put-down-able delight.
