Read this all in one big gulp, couldn’t put it down. While I didn’t full on cry, I did tear up several times. The characters felt real to me and I loved them and felt like I was a part of their lives, for however short a time. How do you NOT fall head over heels for Ambrose? And, ok, maybe he reminds me a little of my own mischievous, trouble-making husband (though thankfully with way more game than John has, haha!) so I might be a teensy bit biased.
Definitely a fluffy summer read with all the insta-love and devastation only a seventeen year old can feel, but I still liked it. Having just attended my little brother’s wedding the night before, I was in a sappy mood and enjoyed all the wedding planning bits of this book.
