A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail by Bill Bryson
Did not finish book. Stopped at 5%.
DNF at 5% (somewhere in chapter 2). I wanted to listen to an audiobook while I did a puzzle and I’ve always been intrigued by Bill Bryson’s books. However, I don’t think this is the one for me. I got to a part where he graphically described a bear attack on a child, followed by a gory story of someone getting their face ripped off. No thanks.
It also hasn’t aged well with some stereotypes that made me cringe. Not a lot, but enough to notice.

Graphic: Child death and Gore
Minor: Murder
