A Sorceress Comes to Call by T. Kingfisher
4.0
adventurous dark emotional mysterious tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

I was given an ARC from NetGalley. I've been a bit obsessed with T. Kingfisher and I've read almost all of her books.  I blew through this book very quickly. It was equal parts weird and exciting. You definitely empathize with the main character and want to cheer her on when she tries to leave. There are moments of terror when you think
her mom will destroy her
.
I give this book 4 stars because I enjoyed the plot, and the character development. I also really enjoyed the sister and how she immediately saw through the mother's charade.
I highly recommend this book.
