I loved all the sci-fi and fantasy book references. Overall I liked the story, though I think my enjoyment of the book was colored by my frustration with one of the narrators, and I would like to come back and reread this someday in a print or ebook format. But the characters were delightful.
I could not stand the male narrator, Malik Rashad. Every sentence sounded the exact same; he dropped the last word of every sentence in the exact same way, and it came across so monotonous it made me want to scream. Keylor Leigh as the female narrator was great.
