I read this for my Afrofuturism class and 30% in I wasn’t expecting to finish it but I decided to keep giving it a chance so I’d have something to talk about during class. Well, I finished it. Did anything stick? No.
I found this book so incredibly boring that I listened to the last 40 minutes of the audiobook on 3x speed. There were far too many info dumps and the apathy of the MC worked against it. Also, the plot was a mess.
