We follow Vivienne who is a selective mute and a heiress who as a child went missing and something sinister happened to her out in the canyon. Next we have Thomas, a hearing child of a Deaf Adult who takes a job has Vivienne’s interpreter/bodyguard to help pay off his mother medical bills. Next comes the push and pull between these two. But like in every Kelly Andrew’s books… there’s a dark sinister being lurking in the background and we must see have Vivienne and Thomas survive this.
Vivienne pushes and pushes Thomas to get him to quit since she is in search of doing a surgical exorcism to help expel this dark entity inside her. Thomas, an angel baby, never QUITS and their love story is so pure. We get to see some familiar faces again and there are some fun revelations in this story!
