This book started out really strong, I liked the beginning a lot. The thing I’ve realized about the later RL Stine books is that the longer they go on, the crazier they get. This started to feel a lot like a cheesy horror movie, like one on the SyFy channel. I’m all for cheesy horror movies, and this definitely kept my attention, but the writing was really off putting in my opinion. The beginning of the book is in third person and I understand why, but main character switches from from 3rd person to first person and it really just takes me out of the spooky mood.
