The Bad Wedding Date by Vicki James

tense slow-paced

Woah! Hello Fraser Scott! A male fictional character hasn’t got me this hot and bothered in some time and then boom; Fraser Scott appears in my kindle and I feel like a love-sick teenager. Fraser is a character that demands your attention, has you giddy with his poetic charm and has you falling head over heels in the love. Ms James writes in a way that her characters feel real and you feel their every emotion. I want to be Charlotte’s best friend. She sees through the airs and graces of her family’s world, she can fight her own corner and I especially loved her banter with Fraser. There’s lots of steam, plenty of twists and elements of dangers and when you turn to the last page, it’ll have you sighing in satisfaction.
