I am starting to acquire a taste for fiction with alternate historical settings, they can be fun, if done right. In this book we are in the Napoleonic wars, but there are dragons. The story itself of course, is more about the dragons, but it plays out against the background of the struggle for europe. Interesting plot, good storytelling, the characters could use a little more dimension.
