A World or Two Over by Golmah Zarinkhou, Golmah Zarinkhou

3.0

This was a good start to a new series. Right away, the maps glossary and diagrams were super helpful.
The story opens like a Hilariously Whimsical Alice in wonderland retelling, and finishes up like a dark fairy tale.
We accompany Willow on her rollercoaster journey of self realization and action packed search for answers. It was both confusing and heartbreaking.
I loved the world building in this story but wish the author would have given us more of the characters mind. The end (though sort of a cliffhanger) was a bit abrupt and confusing. It felt like we skipped past a few chapters all of the sudden. Overall I enjoyed the read and will probably look for future books in this series.
