I actually lost this book in the middle of reading it (sorry HCPL!), so it gave me some time to really reflect on its content. While it does a good job showing how much youth want to belong to something (see the rise of alt-right and their recruitment of young males), it is such an idealized view of the effectiveness of a social experiment. I think we can learn as a nation that lies travel much faster than lies...and the average person is not willing to look into whether something is true or not. If it fits their narrative then it is the truth.
