Overkill by Sandra Brown
4.0
I'm a sucker for a good Sandra Brown book and this one did not disappoint. I was hooked from the first chapter and sped through it in one weekend. I wanted the story to keep going.
With a few little twists, Overkill is the story of an ex-NFL quarterback who's been keeping a low profile when suddenly his ex-wife is rushed to the emergency room and not expected to survive. What follows is a few short days, a little time jump or two, some romance, and a lot of drama.
Following multiple characters, this book gives a wide array of personalities, some you absolutely loathe, and some you grant forgiveness. And at least one you might fall in love with.
If you like mystery, some fast-paced action, some spicy scenes, or you like Sandra Brown, this book has a little bit of something for pretty much everyone.
