This wasn’t my favorite by McFadden. The pace was much slower than anything I’ve read by her and the main twist was revealed much too early, making the last part of the book feel like it was dragging. 

I will say, I’m glad I pushed through because true to the genre, there were a few additional twists that made me nearly scream out, “what the FUCK?!”
