This was my second Jo Nesbo and I find that what I like best about his work is that feeling of menace that he is so good at creating. For me my favorite part about reading is that feeling of getting lost in the book. Losing sight of the world and being fully immersed. Jo Nesbo does that really, really well. Honestly I felt it was a little long and maybe a little too slow burning to be a favorite but I loved how he made you feel creeped out through the whole thing. It's hard to maintain that through a long book but he did and as much as it gave me shivers it made me love it that much more. A really good read if you want to curl up and spook yourself.
