Good: pretty good trans representation (from what I remember), intriguing concept, I remember liking this more than it's sequel.
Bad: weird mishmash of east asian cultures written by (presumably) an outsider and I doubt it had sensitivity readers, trope of disability gets miraculously cured (I cannot emphasize how pissed off I was when this happened).
