I enjoyed this continuation of Fitz life
In this book we start off where the first ended, with Verity and Kettricken married, the Red-ship raiders still destroying the coast, manipulations and dark dealings at court and Fitz dealing with his injuries' and figuring what to do next with his life.

This would have been a 5 stars but i did find the first half of the book a little slow, and I wont lie i enjoyed more the chapters with Verity and Kettricken, Burrich , the fool and king Shrewd. I wish there was a little less focus on Molly, i appreciated why and i do like the character but i enjoyed more the other aspects of the book.

Overall, it was a great second book of a trilogy and sets up the third wonderfully, i can't wait to read the next.
