I’ve been VERY eagerly awaiting this since the release of the final Aveline Jones book and it didn’t disappoint! I loved the story, the characters and the folklore and I’m so glad we get to see some of young Aunt Lilian! I loved the spooky elements and some parts were genuinely creepy!
I did feel the pace was a little quick but this may be because I read it in one sitting and it only took me a couple of hours so it felt like it all happened in one evening.
I was very excited by the sneak preview at the next book, it sounds really cool. Will forever love Aveline Jones as some of my favourite books, so I can’t wait for more of Shadowhall Academy!
