If you can put aside the incredibly problematic aspects of this book (which… you can’t) then I would’ve really loved it. There were so many ‘let me grab my highlighter’ moments and the romance was so lovable, and daphne and all of the bridgertons are just the best. It felt a little rushed at times and it almost felt like the tv series felt like it lasted longer. But the really problematic issue lies in Daphne’s decision, and it’s even worse than in the show because Simon is also drunk. However I will be continuing on and I loved the second season so much so I feel like I will really love the second book.
