yea. i'm not okay.
really not okay. i didn't think it was possible for me to love legendary even more than caraval but that's just what happened!!!! i think the main thing was donatella being the narrator.
i adore characters like tella: characters that stay true to themselves true and true but grow a lot as a person throughout the novel. throw in a dash of beauty, lots of caraval and you got this book.
tella does what she wants as she wants. she sometimes hurts people she loves, but she always has the best of intentions and she's impossible to not love.
tella reminds me of that tiktok sound: looks like a cinnamon roll, could kill you.
except she is still a cinnamon roll, just a very deadly one.

garber's writing is just so astronomically beautiful. the way she describes things blows my mind. DESCRIPTIONS WORK WONDERS
