A deputy US Marshal and a journalist escape and run from a drug cartel. I adored him, he's protective, ruthless with a sexy, tender side. She's kind, brave, with nerves of steel. Their romance is great, it's hot, passionate but also sweet and poignant. The chemistry is tops and the emotional, healing moments between them are 😭. 

There's a bit of push-pull from him but she's resolute all the way. He puts his life on the line for her, and she's equally protective as well. Their steamy scenes are 💯 high heat (danger banging included)! The action is exciting, explosive, and ties in with the building of their romance. I did wish that her dead fiancé was less present but it's a small issue. My fav side charas and their bond is aces, and the HEA is just lovely.
