I enjoyed this one - the gothic vibes were excellent, with unexpectedly spooky moments at times! The plot was ok, I feel like it could have been a bit more fleshed out, unsure on the the motive - I feel like I need the reasons with regards to the bone men.
I loved the details of Danes life, and I enjoyed the development of Dane and Remis relationship. The spice was not for me, so I’ll admit I skimmed those pages!
I’m unsure how I feel about the reveal at the end… I feel like it came out of nowhere for me!
An enjoyable read, I do love Sophie Larks writing, and I’ll definitely pick up the next instalment!
