Hunt on Dark Waters by Katee Robert
Did not finish book. Stopped at 66%.
I hate to do this, but I’m just not having fun with this — at least not as much as I hoped for and not enough to urge me forward. I want to know how the story ends but don’t really want to dedicate any more hours to get there.
Evelyn is tedious, frustrating, and one-note. Bowen is… fine? I spent ages just waiting for what’s her face (Liz?) to return, only for that return to be kinda meh and now we have to wait again for resolution. Same with waiting for the crew to turn on Bowen, and now we’re just waiting for that resolution. This is so long and I’m not into it. Feel free to tell me how it ends!
