Passion Project
by London Sperry
It took me awhile to get into this book. I didn’t love Bennet right away, but I think that’s intended.
Henry is literally perfect. You couldn’t ask for a more understanding and lovely person.
Bennet struggled a lot through this book. With herself. With the people in her life. With her expectations. She took a lot of one step forward, two steps back. She got there in the end the way most of us do, by being open and vulnerable to the people who matter.
I cried, a lot, in the back half of this book. Grief is a complex thing and watching multiple people navigate it, even briefly can bring things to the surface for yourself.
