Cute. Enjoyed the main characters even though I wanted to know them better. I felt like we barely met them and all of a sudden the story was over. Which works out. It was cute and left me hopeful.

I really loved the annotations at the end. I enjoyed learning more about the details and the research that had to go into the story.

I’m quite happy to see a civil war era storyline that addresses things like who land has actually been stolen from
