Honestly, I wasn't sure I would like this book based on the plot, but once you realize the MMC is just innocent and oblivious to certain things like social ques and technology, and not completely illiterate, childish and uneducated, it feels more real.
I loved the storyline between these two and the love they shared for one another all these years.
It wasn't as good as Still Beating, but was VERY close. I think the biggest reason for me giving this 4.5 over 5 stars is that I found the ending predictable. I figured out who the "villian" was way sooner and was just waiting for it to happen, so that took away from it a little bit.
However, still a great book, great characters, great love story, and an adorable happy ending.
