Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert

5.0

After loving Get a Life and Act your Age, I knew I had to get Take a Hint and boy, I was NOT disappointed! The voice is just amazing as ever (Talia Hibbert is a voice goddess, I swear!), I was laughing through so many moments of this book. I also loved the romance between Dani and Zafir - Zaf is such a grouchy sweetheart, and his anxiety was really relatable! I loved reading about a tall, buff, grouchy male love interest who struggles with mental health issues, is open about having gone to therapy and also a romance novel lover! Romance novels are amazing and I'm glad Zaf gave me a great realization on why I love them too: it's not just the romance, it's watching people overcome their issues and grow from their mistakes, over and over, and tell yourself you can also do the same. Zafir's whole character and character arc was incredibly encouraging and heartwarming. On the other hand, Danika is one hell of a MC and I aspire to have half her confidence. Also: BI ICON. Letting yourself love again after being so hurt is one hell of a struggle and I loved seeing her give love a chance again after so desperately avoiding to take the hint :P
Another amazing book by Talia Hibbert that I can only recommend!
