silly and purposefully low brow— fun light read! As to everyone criticizing the misogyny in the book i totally get that… but i don’t see a scenario where the PI in a pulp fiction story is necessarily a respectful dignified human, especially as it feels like Bukowski is intentionally being satirical here.
