I liked a lot about this book- Nephele is a great character, and Neri was amusing. But I felt like there was more plot missing, like there was more to learn about these two that would’ve been appropriate in this book. The end felt strangely rushed, and threw in a very spicy scene that felt unearned. They could’ve brought in the “additional” element(s) of that scene as part of the plot earlier. Hopefully they uncover more about

their curse and their relationship

in the next book. Either way, I’m on the edge of my seat for the next book!
