I Who Have Never Known Men
by Jacqueline Harpman
Very sad to give this a poor rating because I was so excited to read this...had it on hold at the library for 2 months because I've heard so much about how amazing and mind blowing it is. And it just... wasn't. It's not a feminist piece, it's actually quite conservative in its discussion of women really. It goes nowhere. Pretty much just "I walked here...then I walked there." Ok. You can say that the point is that nothing happens, but that doesn't make it an interesting or insightful book.
