Murderbot is an immediately interesting and compelling character. He reads explicitly neurodivergent and hearing his anxiety around relationships and socialization feels really comforting. The world isn’t his books is interesting and I hope to understand more as i get into later books. The action and climax of this book felt a little weak. Maybe murderbot’s filter to the danger affected the feeling of it but the stakes didn’t feel quite right and the conflict felt resolved too quick. I am still continuing on and super excited for the next volume.
