American Vampire, Vol. 3 by Scott Snyder

4.0

A solid volume in the series. Snyder is a great horror writer, and I'm enjoying what he has to say about the vampire sub-genre. His main anti-hero, Skinner Sweet, is just the right combination of viciously evil and charmingly charismatic. The mini-history lessons as the series progresses from the wild west to present day are also interesting to follow, even as they're twisted around to accommodate Snyder's supernatural addition. If you're a fan of Snyder's you should definitely be reading this series.
