Another reviewer said that she started off with The Flatshare which had 1 romance and that was great. Then, The Switch, which had 2 romances and felt a little rushed. Then, The No-Show, which had 3 romances and it was so so rushed and too full. I feel the exact same.
I didn't like that I spent the entire book trying to figure out the plot twist. This is a rom-com, feel-good type of book, not a thriller. I was bored for the first 60% because I knew that something big was going to happen to potentially negate all of the romances. Also, none of them felt real because of that big something.
My big theory was that it was a memory loss situation--the woman started off a someone, say Siobhan, and then hit her head, lost her memory, and took on a new identity--say Miranda. Then Miranda hit her head on a tree, and became Jane, and Carter was trying to romance the same woman multiple times. I know it was totally wild but 50 First Dates is a movie that exists so it's not outside the realm of possibility.
The real plot twist was fine. I didn't really care aboutSiobhan so I wasn't too upset about what happened to her. The last couple paragraphs in her POV did make me sad though. Miranda was cool, I shipped her and AJ a lot so I'm glad thats how that worked out. I feel like I should be relating to Jane the most but she was so boring...she was giving Emma from Glee and not in a good way. I know it's because of her SA but still not enjoyable to read
