Murder at the Vicarage by Agatha Christie
3.0

When I first started listening to audio books, I listened to most of the Hercule Poirot books by Agatha Christie. I enjoyed them especially because they were read by David Suchet, who is Poirot in my mind.

For some reason, I never listened to the Miss Marple series that Christie also wrote. I am not sure why, but I decided to correct this deficit. Murder at the Vicarage is the first full length appearance of Jane Marple and I enjoyed it very much.

The reader was excellent; the mystery was interesting and so the whole experience was good. My favorite parts were the proofs that human nature never changes. There were complaints about youth and technology - gee, do we ever have such complaints.

I am looking forward to seeing what Miss Marple gets up to next.
