Dr. Stanton
by T.L. Swan
3 stars.
Couldn't put it down but not my favourite of the TL Swan books I've read.
I just found Dr Stanton himself slightly infuriating. I have enjoy my fair share of obnoxious, domineering, rich (fictional) men in my time but Cameron was just a little bit too much. He just could not manage his own emotions and would not listen to Ashley.
It started off so strong and so steamy and then boom throw a surprise kid in the mix (love me a single Mum romance). Cameron threw his toys out of the pram one too many times for me to be completely in love with him like I am with many of Swan's other love interests. Ashley, our main character, was great, and I just wanted her to kick Camerons ass. If it weren't for the ending I think this would have gotten lower star rating, but even then I wish we could have spent more time with Cam grovelling.
