Our favorite bad ass FMC is back and I couldn’t be happier to have read this book. Daya exemplifies everything I love about strong women fighting for their homes, families, and seeking justice against people who wish to oppress others. She spearheaded efforts to save the people she loved and I cannot wait to see where this story goes in the future. I loved seeing Zuri embrace her power and take back pieces that were taken from her. And seeing the relationship dynamic between Axel and Zuri was the slowest slow burn I couldn’t wait to see foster into the most beautiful poly relationship they had with Daya. This story was everything and more. If you love romantasy and haven’t read Blood & Brujas, you need to get on that ASAP since Air & Essence will be releasing soon!
