Entering stage left we have Egorr, our adorable, loveable, hot MMC whose brain is as big as his.... heart. When he applies for a human's hand in marriage, I don't know if he's expecting someone as vibrant as Maggie.
Maggie is a bright, human woman who wants to experience it all. Even if things aren't sized for her, she doesn't let that stop her. Having grown up in New Eden her life is cookie-cutter and not at all what she wants. After another dismal failure of a trial marriage, Maggie decides to give Egorr a chance.
Oh. My. Gosh. When I read Theo and Celeste's book I got to see a glimpse of Egorr and Maddie and I was absolutely hoping with all my hope that Lyonne would write them. AND I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. Firstly, I bet Egorr gives the BEST HUGS. Secondly, Maggie and her lack of patience for "their time" tickled me, GIRL YOU GOTTA BE CAREFUL WITH THAT MUCH ORGE. I love that they found their rhythm together and figured out what they both loved. Maggies friendship with Timble was precious and i love that it helped her figure stuff out. Absolutely recommend!
