I’m not gonna lie, this was a tough read especially at the end. It goes from being a spooky haunted house book, to a book about the deep trauma that’s rooted in racism. Rivers Solomon’s writing is truly haunting and raw, which made this book so engaging to read.

I would recommend checking the trigger warnings before diving in. 💚
