this book was written really well. i LOVED the pacing of it the most - made for a quick and easy read with it’s short chapters!
my biggest aversion to it though as someone suffering from anorexia was the speediness in which the whole process of Annas recovery took. it was just so unrealistic. like inpatient for 6 weeks and then she’s just like out and ready and eating like uhhh idk girl?!?
i guess she still attends the day program but still even when she was in 17 Swann street she literally had like this one slip up and that was it like sorry again just not realistic. but yeah idk i did actually really enjoy reading this and seeing like the impacts on families and loved ones - i think that aspect was really fascinating to read about as an ed sufferer.
overall a quick solid read, i would recommend :)
