I absolutely adored this book. It's said to be a modern retelling of When Harry Met Sally but, as someone who doesn't watch a lot of movies, I have never seen it so cannot truly compare!

Ari Sloane and Josh Kestenberg first meet when Ari tries to sign Josh up for something, then later discovers he is her roommates boyfriend.

They next meet three years later in not so great circumstances and continue to, accidentally, be thrown into each others company every so often. Years later, following Ari's divorce, the two become friends but it is clear it isn't all they are meant to be.

Every character in this book is literally perfect. I fell in love with Ari's personality straight away, she is so funny. Their own issues, especially Ari's, (although Josh doesn't have it easy either) stop her from trusting herself and trusting that Josh is a good person. I really enjoyed the exploration of that and her eventual growth. Even the supporting characters were wonderfully fleshed out and it felt like a perfect enemies to friends to lovers novel.
