Quit Like a Woman: The Radical Choice to Not Drink in A Culture Obsessed with Alcohol by Holly Whitaker

informative inspiring slow-paced

3.0

I appreciated the subject matter of this book because I do believe more conversation about alcohol and drinking culture should be had, but I don't think it hit the mark. I was hoping it would be more informational, but instead it felt like it was geared toward people who are struggling to quit drinking and are seeking a new perspective on how to get sober. The first half of the book started out fairly strong with some interesting points, but it went really off track towards the end and felt very much like a rant about how messed up the patriarchy is.
