I think this is my favorite of the series! Loved the characters, loved the sexiness, and loved the girl power aspects of this book. All of it flowed together really nicely and I think it is a great read overall!

What I Liked
  • I think another Feyre & Rhysand story would’ve been too much. You already start to feel fatigued after Book 3 (at least I was feeling that way). So I liked the character switch.
  • The sexual tension between Cassian and Nesta is SO GOOD.
  • I like the sexier approach to this book
  • Loved the pacing of this book. I think we don’t dwell on the “sad Nesta” portion which helps a lot.
  • I like Nesta's training and really focusing on her friendships with Gwyn and Emerie. it helps Nesta feel more like a girl's girl, more so than Fayre in previous books.
  • LADY DEATH....LET'S EFFIN' GO

What I didn’t like
  • The ending sucked…I think it should’ve ended after Nesta and Rhys hugged, but the “I changed my anatomy” of it all felt like Sarah needed a way for them to not end up like Feyre and Rhys and it just felt too forced. Too much of a “tie it up in a pretty bow” ending.
