EDIT: here’s the actual review after i’ve had enough time to sleep. i’m giving this 3.5 ⭐️ first of all WHYYYY THE FUCK were there so many pop culture references. since i read this book rn while all the things being mentioned were relevant i was okay with it but if i read this book in 20 years i’d actually be like wtf is this. way to give a book an expiry date ig. second of all, i just don’t think this book was needed, the first book was good and all this one did was kinda shit on the first one & show us that they’ve broken up like what.. finally idk what this woman did with wes but he was not acting like #MYWES trust me i know him and this wasn’t him (purposely trying to sound like one of those pick me girls). anyways i did cry to some of this & i still love the characters which is why the rating is higher than a 3 but i just cannot justify giving it a 4 or higher when this was such a letdown from the first book. starting a petition to tell authors that sometimes a sequel is Not needed and this was the case for this book unfortunately
