Voices from Chernobyl: The Oral History of a Nuclear Disaster by Svetlana Alexiévich

4.0

A truly incredible work, so many affected people, so much sadness, anger, heroism and loss. I was struck by how many people likened the accident to a war as they had no other frame of reference.

It had the best ending of any non-fiction I've ever read. This is definitely going to stay with me and has already made me question so much. 4.5 stars.
