CLASSIC morrison.
this story explores themes of race without ever really mentioning how it relates to our main character.
ultimately, a tale of the transition from girlhood to womanhood and what we lose in between.
the only thing i would change is bc i listened to it, i heard the zadie smith introduction/analysis before i actually got to hear the story. I would rather her thoughts be after.
