I picked up this deluxe version, simply because it was beautiful and I could tell it was dark romance. It did NOT disappoint!!
Harley has obviously put in research into the BDSM lifestyle and many of the aspects encompassed within it. This was not a quickly/poorly written dark romance. It was full of consent, safe words, and after care. Bravo!!!
Rae is tenacious and puts herself into situations that aren't the smartest, haha, but she's so headstrong I just love it. She goes for what she wants, and doesn't let a literal demon stop her.
Leon is a headstrong "asshole" but we see his softer side (who knew demons had one?!) because of Rae, he becomes more "human" for her.
Their love story is pretty great. They both fight what they're feeling/wanting, but really just want each other safe and happy, and what else could we want?
Oh yea...we want the absolutely depraved sex scenes that would leave some people reeling in disgust.
