While I appreciate the amount of effort the author has put into research and fact checking for this book, I felt that the book was a failure in a lot of other aspects. Made pointlessly long by unnecessary characters not trivial to the main plot, the sheer amount of effort required to understand the timeline of the story as it kept switching was overwhelming. Also, many details of the main theme was in the end not clarified, which I felt made the whole book pointless.
