I read this with my six-year-olds, who really enjoyed it. It reminded me a bit of Frog and Toad, with its episodic nature and small, simple life lessons. I particularly enjoyed the story with the bees and the termites. The psychedelic mushroom episode was, admittedly, a bit confusing. Overall, this was a good graphic novel for younger kids, and one I imagine my kids will soon read on their own. One star off, though, for the comment in the first story of "You cry a lot for a boy" without any refutation.
