The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides

3.0

I wanted to give it 3.5 stars out of 5 if there was an option.

First and foremost, I really loved the structuring and the writing. The Silent Patient has decently structured pacing. A good slow-burner book. What I don't quite seem to get a grip on is the twist. It was good, I agree. However, something isn't feeling solid with it. I am not sure what or why. I really want to give it 4 or 4.5 stars but something in the ending part where they reveal everything is not quite sitting right with me. Something gnawing me subconsciously. That's all I can say for now.

If you are totally new to thrillers, you MUST read this.
If the thriller genre is a path taken too often, you could try it out. No harm done. It isn't necessarily a bad book.
